Account access
Can't sign in? Use Forgot password to get a reset link — it expires after a while, so request a fresh one if it stops working. If you signed up with Google, use the "Continue with Google" button on the sign-in page rather than a password. If reset emails never arrive, check spam first, then write to us.
Billing & subscriptions
Premium is $9.99 per month or $79.99 per year, and both renew automatically until cancelled. Plan details are on the Plans page. To cancel, switch plan, update your card or download invoices, open Manage subscription on your account page — that opens the secure Stripe billing portal. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you've already paid for, so you keep access until then.
Full terms, including failed payments and refunds, are in the Refund & Cancellation Policy. If you ever see an unexpected charge, email us with the date and amount.
Your data: export or delete
You can download every entry as JSON or CSV, delete individual entries, or permanently delete your whole account from your account page. Deleting the account removes your entries, profile and plan record and can't be undone — export first if you want a copy. If you can't sign in to do it yourself, contact us and we'll verify you're the account holder before acting.
If you're on a paid plan, cancel your subscription in the billing portal before deleting your account — deleting the account doesn't cancel billing with Stripe on its own. If you've already deleted it and aren't sure, email us and we'll check.
Technical problems
If something won't load or an entry won't save, try refreshing, then signing out and back in. When you write in, tell us what you were doing, the device and browser you were using, and roughly when it happened. Please don't paste private journal content into a support email — we don't need it to help.
If you're in crisis
Divorce Confessions is a journaling space, not a crisis service, and no one is reading your entries in real time. If you're in immediate danger or crisis, contact your local emergency number (911 in the US) or call or text 988, the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
